Having taken a break from everything for awhile, we've had a few personal tragedies in our family in the last month but there have been a lot of pen orders in the last few weeks. So to put toys in the shop...I went ahead and did some casting and chip making. 1) Half cut of a 2x4x1 blank mold casting. 2) Coffee bean on Jr Gent Ti postable...no finish, just polished to 12k. These are made for me by a fellow Creeker. I keep his name secret so he won’t get bashed for making pen blanks. 3) Rose gold Ti Aero with a gold and bronze cast acrylic. 4) I was lucky enough to receive a polymer clay blank from Toni Ransfield in NZ. Put it on a Gunmetal Mesa. Somewhere around here is a wenge Jr Gent Ti fountain that's going to its new home in Monterey next week. The picture aren't great, but oh well. That's about it! C&C used on the next one.

Ok, there you are! Sorry to hear about the family tragedy stuff, I hope there's a happy or at least peaceful ending. As usual the pens look great! I wonder how long the coffee bean smell lingers? Any idea?

Namaste,
Michael

Cool stuff, Jim! That bronze acrylic is really cool looking... Reminds me a bit of aspen burl which is a personal favorite for pens.
