I've been practicing making HF's from seasoned wood with my Monster, but now it's time to get serious with some beautiful "fresh-cut" Madrone. I could use some help procedurally, going from green wood to final product.

Thanks ahead of time.

If you're going for wrinkles(I hope you are!), not too much changes from seasoned wood. You definitely need to do the entire piece in one session. I've never had a chance to work with madrone, but I hear it moves quickly. I've often though I might use plastic wrap around the outside of the form to prevent moisture loss while hollowing... Not sure if that would keep it from moving or not. I hope you'll share the finished product!
