It's been a while since I've posted photos of new pieces, so here are a few.

First up, two pendants... a collaboration with my bride, she did the beadwork.
This is the first time we're working with African Blackwood... very nice stuff.
The bluish stone is Labradorite... it has an opalescent quality.
The greenish stone is jasper.

Then another first for me... a bowl from a board.
The board was an 8x8x3/4" padauk.
The feature ring is segmented combining padauk and walnut.

When I get a few moments, I'll post some bowl-from-board progress photos. To minimize seams, I cut the rings on a scroll saw. I enjoyed the project.

Oh, and I'm playing around in photoshop... I replaced the grey background originally in the bowl photo with a gradient... and removed the shadows. Just playing... playing, playing.

Very nice. The pendants are really great. I like the larger hole.

Great collaboration on the pendants, they look great. Nice variation on the bowl from a board technique to include a ring

Wonderful pendants.

I have thought about something similar. After seeing yours maybe I will get inspired to do some.

The jewelry is quite attractive..very nice design with the open circle and the stone hanging inside.
Your bowl from a board is super nice..it's hard to get shape on these & you did well with that..I like the bowl quite a bit

Very pretty bowl. I like the segmented ring. It sets the piece apart from plain. The pendants are pretty. Thanks for sharing.

The bowl from a board is very nice. But I think the necklaces with beads and wood are some of the prettiest I've seen.

Nice work here! Beautiful pendants, and if I might suggest you drop a quartz or other crystal in the center of those pendants you will not have time to make anything else they'd sell so fast. At least out here in "ooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmm woo woo" land.
And no, I am not going to sit at the flea market every weekend on a commission for you.

Sweet bowl. Love the pendants. The blackwood with the touches of lighter color really work well with the mulit-colored stones. BTW, I think I know that girl. I could swear I've seen her somewhere...
