This is the raw material for a "companion piece" to go with my recently posted "Parfait" thing. This one will be a "Sundae". Right now it kinda looks like a ham...
If anyone is interested, I will do another "step by step" with it.....

David,
Coming from you.........that is an offer we can't refuse............fire away and do a tutorial for us! Especially all the steps of the pedestal and stem........is the "parfait" thing the same as your "amphora" series?
You are quite correct.......right now it does look like a ham! :D

"...is the "parfait" thing the same as your "amphora" series?"
No. It's this one:

I did a step by step on it which is here:

This one will be somewhat similar which is why I asking in advance. I do have some ideas on how to improve on the process but basically, it's the same kind of thing...

I don't want you to bore all the experts on here (most of the people on here except me), but I would like you to go even more in-depth in the step by step. As a beginning bowl/thinga-ma-jig/stem thingy turner, I lose out on some of the steps in the other tutorials because I dont get some of the things you guys take for granted.

OK. Done. We're off and running. This is gonna take a while because time is a bit short these days. But I'll try not to drag it out too much!
PS Video is out of the realm of possibility for now...
