Well, it's been a crazy couple of months, with some long hours and many frustrations, but I'm proud to announce the installation of my first gallery feature. It's taking place at a local "high end" furniture store which has a gallery where they showcase a different artist's work every two months.

Here's a terrible picture. (It's actually much brighter and gallery-like in person.) I hope to have professional shots posted by the end of next week.

Now time for some rest!

This is one of the better gallery presentations of turned objects I have seen. The pieces are really presented as art. Very nice!

Hey, I recognize some of those pieces!!! Very nice setup! Nice to be the sole artist on display, too. Great idea for the store and the artist. Hope you cash in big time, Hutch!

Wow Congrats. Those pieces are amazing but I cant believe the tall one in the back right of the pic. that is crazy. From what I see this was well deservered and long over due.

The display is ALMOST as nice as the turnings. I hope it is a big hit. By the way, the vase is incredible.

Congrats Matt, that is fantastic! I love that very tall turning in the photo, that must have been an adventure to turn something so deep, well done.

Thanks all! I will keep you updated with better photos of the individual pieces and of news of any sales. I too hope that I don't bring many pieces home. :D
