I received some of exotic wood Ive ordered today. It was paela and granedillo... It was blanks for flutemaking 1 1/2" square by 24 " long...It was coated on the ends and some of the them were almost coated completely....It is in NC now but I wouldn't think these boards would change much being as thick as they are right ????I would store them in my shop for a while until I can get to them and it is hotttttt in there....

I thought paela was something you eat...

You could eat it, but it would be pretty tough to chew.

Lots of fiber though. Probably greater than the minimum reccomended daily allowance.

Mike is it dry or wet? If it's dry it doesn't matter as much, if it's wet and you stick it out there you might get some checking and cracking unless it is covered in wax. If it's really dry stuff it probably won't move much.

I'll have a bowl of the Paella DD is talking about! Hold the extra fiber please!
