New to Pittsburg

I am at a meeting in Pittsburg and find that I have one evening that I have some time to do what I like and that is turning or talking about turning. If there is anyone in this area tha would like to get together on Thursday night 7/14/11 i would be very greatful to meet them. If no one is available could someone give me an idea where I might be able to pick up a piece or two of the wood you folks have locally.

thanks for the reply but I did not get until after I got back from dinner tonight. If I had seen it earlier this afternoon I would have been glad to drive the 50 miles to get some wood and spend some time talking and what ever we may have been able to do. Thanks again
