New kit for me: Comfort twist pen in gun metal. I have the ctr to ctr 7mm bushings and used a caliper to match parts. Slow, but truer fit than ever before.
Flamed box elder X cut from a cutoff from Cathy S, I think..... (I've had it for a while)
BLO / CA finish, topped off with EEE after sanding to 600.
Other one is a homely piece of olive wood but I like the figure in the top part. BLO, shellac, wet sanded with 400 using BLO - good coat of AO and tried to polish it up on the lathe. Sanded back down some, and sanded upto 1200. Let dry for a couple of hours. EEE, red rouge and white diamond on the wheels. NO wax.
