Anyone had this? These alarms are to detect fire in the machine, which I can assure your there is none! This happened a couple of times in summer, so I thought it was too warm, as it would work when I tried it later. But apparently it shouldn't have anything to do with that, and now it is winter and today it did it again, and won't run. It will go for a few secs, then say "over temperature" and stop.
Very frustrating! Will call universal during their hours, anyone got ideas in meantime?
Oh and the 9v battery is brand new

Have you actually checked the voltage on it? I got some "brand new" batteries (and major brand ones at that) recently and they were bad (low voltage). It can happen.

Hi John :)
Batteries are fine, checked that. Have talked to ULS and apparently it will just be the heat sensor board playing up, which is what our NZ had guessed it may be yesterday, so he sent a new board which should arrive today.
So hopefully a quick fix!
By the way, freaking freezing here right now, dreaming of Fiji! Maybe next year...
