Corel Text problem

I know this must be something simple. When I do text in Corel and export it out as a plt, the smooth circles are now jagged lines.(see attachment).

When doing text on small brass plates, do you engrave or just do a shallow cut?

Your engrVING software will have either a file import configuration , where you will be able to specify plt curve smoothing or it will have a setting for curve smoothing , you need to increase this. If not , try exporting/importing as another format
In corel as well , when you export , there is an advanced tab , in the advanced tab there is a curve resoution section , set curve resolution as small as you can.
I have found it is generally a lot better to export as AI rather than plt.
Im not sure what the difference is between engrave and a shallow cut- isnt it more or less the same thing unless you are talking about scratch engraving as "engraving"
