A non turner friend of mine from MI sent me this crotch piece of mulberry. He asked if i could turn a winged bowl for his dauther out of it. Well this is what i came up with. He was well pleased and the pics came from him. All C&cC more than welcome

Steve the size is aprox 10 x 10 x2. The wings are just under 1/8 thick, and the bowl is just over 1/8. Finish is multi coats shellac, followed by 4 or 5 coats lacquar. Lacquar knocked down with steel wool then waxed and buffed.
