As I mentioned on an earlier thread, our local club will have a meeting this Saturday for hammering out issues to finalize the club members participation in this project.
I got an email this morning about contacts made with various venues...........definitely a lot of interest.
Virginia Historical Society Museum Shop -Richmond,Va.
Virginia Military Institute Gift shop- Lexington,Va.
Hall of Valor Museum Gift shop- New Market, Va.
Stonewall Jackson Museum Gift Shop -Lexington
Also, we have been contacted by the Grand Caverns Museum Shop and a couple others, as well as a couple of Municipalities who want a display and maybe some items.
A Battlefield Foundation wants a number of items for their large donors to have as an appreciation of their support..........every day it seems it grows larger.
We still have the trunk of the tree to recover, and will have another "cut & haul" in the next few days............
