Sorry, but..........
Got tired of mickey-mouse bit holders/extensions - impact driver murdes them. So, based on something I read here, I spent the money and got an Apex.
But - learned this style has a locking ring in it. The locking ring is holidng my bit captive. I fooled around with it for a while, and somehow it released the bit. So, I figured must be easy - just used it again.
Cannot get the doggone thing to release the bit. There must be a trick I don't understand?
Cooper/Apex did not respond to two emails last month...............Their catalog lists a no-ring style, but cannot find them for sale anywhere. Anyone else got a recommendation for another brand to use with impact driver? I buy only Apex bits now, but this extension/holder is really annoying me now.
