The widest T-track I found in the catalogs are 3 1/2 inch wide------does anybody know of any track wider preferably in blue or red?

I need something that is vertical and free standing , more like a fat " L". The height to be about 12 to 16 inches tall. The bottom of the " L" will be anchored.

6 to 8 inch wide would be ideal.

Regards and thanks,

Herb

I am not clear on what you are asking for. Your description doesn't sound like T-track as many of us think of it. Can you post a picture of the track you did find and possibly a drawing of what you are trying to do?

You might search http://www.8020.net/ and see if they have something that works. I'm guessing they could probably anodize it any color you want, although it might not be cheap.

woodpeck.com has it in red. So does that mail order wood tool company in Indiana. Can't think of their name. I've never seen it blue, however.

I am sorry for my poor description.

If you got to Woodpecker they have a " Super Track" which has three groves ( slots ) and is 3.8 inches wide. -----I was just looking for a similar T-track with 6 to 9 slots.-----------To make the bottom of the " L " I just just another piece of track and bolt it together like the Wood pecker super fence for a router table.

Eric, will regular t bolts work in these tracks? I'm thinking about using one of them for a router table fence.

How about joining two pieces of Super Track with some pieces of angle and some bolts on the back side?

Hartville Tools (online) has it along with WoodPeck. Another industrial source might be Reid Supply. Also online.

It's pretty easy to anodize things yourself, FYI. Then you can get any color you want.

80/20 does anodize in house. I'm not sure what colors are available but I saw red, blue, yellow, and purple on the demo cart.
