We had another creeker "make good" at AAW! I talked with John Beaver, and his work was picked up by a couple of collectors and he was commissioned on at least one piece. He was receiving some well deserved recognition for his unique work.

Great to have some folks among us that have the talent to rise to the top!

That's great news! Not a shocking development... In fact, I'd be more shocked if it hadn't have happened. Congrats, John!

Can I say that it looks like you are making "waves" or is that just to corny? Congrats!

Alan had some fantastic response to his work, including the two sales and some serious collector interest, as well.

John K, thanks for the "promo", and thanks everyone else for the kind comments. It was great meeting John and Steve and everyone else at the show. I had a fantastic time and learned and accomplished a lot. Between the demos, panel discussions, galleries and trade show my brain is on overload.

(small gloat)
Sunday night I was heading out to dinner and ran into one of my favorite turners in the elevator. We ended up going to dinner together and talked about turning for about 4 hours. What an incredible experience!!!
