Good morning all,

Picked up this router last night, because, well, it was cheap. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00917541000P?prdNo=25&blockNo=25&blockType=G25

It was the display model and they were clearing it out. Certainly didn't need it, but for $25, why not?

Only problem that it's missing the 1/4 collet and Sears Parts Direct shows it back-ordered.

Does anyone know who actually makes it so I can nag them for a collet or if there is a compatible that would work?

Thanks!

Use a collet adapter. Amana and many others make them.

Great price for a nice router. I have one. Paid $80 for it.

The collets have no name, number, or other markings on them.
Have no idea who made them, but they are well made.

Not sure if this is one of them, but Bosch is believed to have made some of the Craftsman routers.

I'm think it /might/ be a Bosch clone. I'll have to head to the local BORG, motor in tow, and see if I can test a collet from their display model. That would certainly be a bit easier.
