I'd like to try using barbed kerf hinges in a few of my small boxes. However, Rockler's price for the kerf hinge blade is off the chart. ($44 for the kerf hinge blade and another $44 for the arbor).

I know I can find the arbor for a much more reasonable cost.

But, is there a less expensive solution for the kerf hinge blade?

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find an answer to that $44 blade. Your advice is appreciated.

I bought them at Grizzly at a much lower price

Woodcraft sells the same blade and arbor for $23 and $26 respectively.
Rockler has the lowest price on the hinges though, at $.99. Woodcraft asks $2.50 for the hinges.

Those look similar to the hinges Lamello sells that you cut kerfs for with a biscuit joiner...

try Craft-inc.com for hinges, and Grizzly for blades (they call them slitting saws/arbor):

Great information . . . exactly what I was looking for.

I knew Grizzly had cheaper arbors but I wasn't certain which slitting saw to order.
