Maple hollow form measuring approximately 6.5 inches tall by 6 inches wide. Finished with aniline dyes and wipe-on poly. All comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.

Joe, you do some wonderful coloration on your work, and the form on this is great! Someday......someday....I want to try one of these carved/reeded pieces.

Joe I really like the carving. It must take a long time to get that just right.

That's a very cool piece Joe.

I am not a dye guy but in this case the dye accentuating the grain along with the carving give the piece an almost alien feel.

Very eye catching.

Wow! That's an amazing piece of wood. The piece is very reminiscent of John Jordan's work. It's beautifully done and the figure in the wood really sets this one apart.

Joe, You do amazing work. If I recognize your style correctly, you post a lot of your turnings "on another forum" where I lurk on occasion. I have saved so many pictures of your turnings as inspiration that you have a separate folder on my hard drive. Way to go and thank you for continuing to post and inspire.
