Kind of a fun bowl to do. The square top bowl is 10 1/2" and a little under 1/4" thick. It is mated to a square bottom bowl. But there is more, a third square bowl underneath the bottom bowl where only the four points touch the table elevating the entire piece about 1/4" off the table giving the illusion of floating. I could not get the pictures to really capture the effect.

One of my personal criteria with square forms is uniform thickness(actually "thinness") of the edges, and you have accomplished that very well.

Toney, I think the pics show the "float" very well!! Excellent piece, with a lot of creativity behind it. Well done!! Pretty wood, too.

That's fantastic Toney! I love it! It's perfectly fluid! It definitely floats in the photos. Too cool! Fantastic wood grain too. Can you turn one coffee table size? :D
