Yesterday was the very last day of school in our district for the 2010-2011 school year and that means we no longer have an elementary school child anymore. Our younger daughter, Alesya (age 11.5 going on 30) enters middle school in the fall. (the older will be in 10th grade) And to think we only became parents about five and a half years ago. LOL
Any way, here's a picture of her last week during the "promotion" ceremony at the high school she will attend in a few years. She also won a Presidential Academic Achievement Award for her performance over the past three years. (Kid also just scored a paying job as a camp counselor for the summer at the horse camp she would otherwise be attending...a promotion from the unpaid CIT role)

And a family shot from the same day
