I have been using Behlan's sanding sealer and laquer for more than 20 years with excellent results. recently their products are thinned down to about 1/4 the material they once had. the SS was in the past, thick and creamy and was great to start a buildup right a out of the can(with a brush). when sanded it turned to dust and sanded fast and smooth and a proper base was quickly built up. their laquer q was foolproff and was white without too much amber. great stuff------NO more. the new SS is very thin and very resinous makinf it very difficult to sand--gums up your paper. just a warning. Now does anyone use a good SS as i described. i would certainly appreciate any recommendation!-------------------------------old forester
