teknatool G3/Grizzly chuck ???

need a couple of sets of different jaws for my nova chuck G (have a barracuda but none of the jaws on it fit the nova chuck and I have to find a spindle adapter for the barracuda that goes from 1 1/4x8 down to a 1x8)

was thinking about getting a grizzle chuck as another extra chuck (and larger) but don't really want to have 3 different chucks with 3 different kinds of jaws that fit and 3 different insets

will the grizzly take the same jaws as the Nova G3?
any idea what the inset and thread count is on the grizzly?


basically looking to by a larger (relatively) inexpensive chuck and a few sets of jaws...would prefer something that will accept the same jaws as the Nova G
the barracuda has extra sets but i need to order a spindle adapter and the jaws on it do not fit the nova


is there an easy answer to my dilemma?

NO they will not take the same jaws. The Grizzly is a clone of the small Vicmarc. However go to the Teknatool web site and they have refurb SN2 for $100 which is a bigger chuck.
