Here are 2 maple plates from the same log as the last hollow form. These are from the quarter sawn parts left after removing the pith. The finish is walnut oil. We will be using these in the kitchen.

Those are fine, Dale! Very nice form you put on those, any chance of a picture of the bottoms of the plates?

Nice bowls Dale! Pretty wood and there looks like you have a little ambrosia markings in there are well!

Nice looking plates Dale. The pith slab that some throw away really has some nice wood for saucers and small plates. What are the diameters of these?

Thomas, the one with the most ambrosia figure is 11.5" and the other one is 10.5".

Great job on the plates.You do good work. The Ambrosia plate would be mine.
