I just went to look at some FREE wood. Well I was amazed. one tree was 23 inches in diameter, the second was 26 and the third was 35. All maple. Tree is already cut down but those things are so big that they need cut more just to be able to slight manhandle them... Pictures to come.

I see some vessels out of this load. (vessels meaning those bathroom sinks above the counter)

Another added surprise to this is that I have always wanted to turn some pecan. Well it just so happens that he downed 2 pecan trees and as soon as the mud dries up enough to get to them I get them..... Like someone else on here says "i may be broke, but I have plenty of wood....

eheheh Well you know lacquer is better than liquor... lol

I start hauling tomorrow so unless it just rains I will have some pics of it. Yeah I know, no pics, it didnt happen...lol

John Keeton, man all I can say is that is some very heavy stuff. I am not a huge guy but not little either and I tried to move one log that was 23" diameter by about 7 feet long and needless to say it laughed at me...I heard it. lol

Wow Karl, I'm envious! You're a lucky guy, I'd be a happy camper with just one measly maple tree. I'm looking forward to the pics, and of course pics of what it will "turn" into... I know... sorry about the pun.

Congrats Karl - on the wood score! Looking forward to the photos! As mentioned - be careful moving that heavy stuff around!
