Sorry, doesn't loook like a TEFC motor, it would be better for a drill press..............Rod.

Looks like you'll need a jib crane to set it. Lucky you have a lift point on top. What is the HP?

Looks like the start of a rotary phase converter to me. Motor is 3 phase, and looks like "explosion proof."

Going to use a 3ph motor to convert to 3ph? :)Exactly where did you read about him having three phase? Did I miss it? Yes you can use a 3ph motor to generate 3ph. Single phase in, 3ph out.
