You might remember the thread about my Rope Mantle project (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?166673-Rope-Mantle-w-Flanking-Cabinets.) that I posted a while back. I have posted it on several other forums, some with much more detail about the construction of the project and had a visitor come to the thread that was unexpected.
Gary Katz went through the 9 pages on Contractor Talk and ended up emailing me. He asked if I was interested in writing an article for his online magazine This is Carpentry. I told him yes and that is what I did for most of today.
It is my first experience writing anything that will be published. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I submitted the article to him today and he said he liked it. Of course it has to go through editing before it will be published. He said it would take a few weeks before it happens.
