Anyone build table saw system from shop notes?

In shop notes issue 103 they have a niftly looking table saw accessory system. I am particularly interested in the blade guard/ dust collection one.
Did anyone build this or one like it? How well does it work?

Didn't build that one but an earlier model I think was published in shop notes and works very well. I made it wider so I could attach 2 1/2 inch dust hose. If you opt to build one DO NOT use acrylic (plexiglass). It will shatter when hit during a kickback. DAMHIKT! Use one of the several brand of polycarbonate.

Does it use the same pattern for the air way path? I was thinking the path of the one in my pic might not be very efficient because of the turns in it.
