Ice Chest for Ice Box?

Hola everyone. I am looking to build an ice box....the old 3 door kind. Has anyone done this? What did you use for the actual ice chest? Did you just buy a big igloo for instance and modify the top to close when the door is shut? I am at a loss here.

Sorry, forget to say of do I get someone to cut and bend tin for me to replicate the old ice boxes?
