I have a question concerning purchasing software. Maybe it's a stupid/obvious one, but I'm not sure what's what.
I found Microsoft's FrontPage a few places for about $170. Then I have also found it a few other places for $99 (both full versions). What's the difference other than the box?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Wes

The Westgatemedia version is unboxed and my guess that means one ofthree things:

This is an OEM version and may have licensing problems.
This is an OEM version and may not have licensing problems.
This is a bootleg version and should not be bought.

OTH: I have heard of Buy.com.

Actually commercialy purchased bootleg MS software is a good deal. They are interested in tracking down the producers and will exchange it for legit software. There was a recent article on Cnet about this.

Thanks guys. I had the impression that it was too good to be true, but I wanted to make sure this wasn't one of those insider/industry secrets. Funny thing is, I was on the Buy.com site and did a search for FP - up came a "sponsored ad" on Buy.com for the Westgate site. Go figure.

Greg, that's pretty funny when you think aboout it - almost like two wrongs do make a right!

I'm not a gambling man though, so I guess I'll pay the extra $70.

Thanks for the input.
