You can download Zip/UnZip apps on-line. You can try www.winzip.com, but I'm not sure if their application is still free for evaluation use.

You can also use http://www.alzip.com/
Their's is free to use and actually handles a lot more file types than Winzip does.

Good luck!

Howard,

Open 'Windows Explorer'
Choose 'File/New/Compressed(zipped) Folder'
Drag & Drop your files into the new folder.

Howard, if you've downloaded a zip file, and you are running Windows XP, you should just be able to double click on the zip file and it will open up and look just like a regular folder. Likewise, you can probably right click on any file or folder, select Send To... , then select "Compressed (zipped) folder" to create a zip file. This is very handy if you wanted to email a bunch of files or pictures, but don't want to upload each one individually.

Otherwise, Andy hit it on the head. As an alternative to Winzip, you could try PK Zip. Just go to www.download.com (http://www.download.com/) and search for zip.
