I had an Ulmia 1711 sliding table saw with the more conventional sliding table off to the left side. This model, however, with the main table itself doing the rolling, is one I've never seen and seems much more specialized; it might be ideal for a frame shop that cut miters all day every day but wouldn't make much of an all-around variety saw since it's not set up for a rip fence (no front rail). It looks a bit like a Hammond Glider TrimOSaw, but much, much less complicated (or sophisticated.)

FWIW, Ulmia went through a reorganization and is back in business but no longer makes table saws.
