This is my first try at a clock and my first major project really. It was given as a wedding gift.

Green and Green style clock from Mahogany with Ebony accents, Motawi Tile and paper clock face. Finished with 1/3 thinner, 1/3 BLO, 1/3 Poly mix. Rubbed out with steel wool and 1/2 thinner 1/2 wax finisher.

What do you think?

I like it!
What are the little squares on the clock face?

Very nice!! Good proportions, like the ebony accents. G&G touches look great on projects.

I really like the ebony use. Cool contrast, and not too much of it.
