engraving finised wood?

Can I burn finished wood that has been cleared, or do I need to sand off clear in the area burn and re clear. Thanks Troy

I much prefer wood product that is top-coated. It allows the residue to be removed easily. And IMHO the the end product seems for crisp.

Agreed. If you're worried about scorching the area use a mask.

Clean up is easy with clear coated wood a bit of Endust and a few light passes with a Magic Sponge.
