Do you wax daily use items and if you want to shine up an
older waxed item can you start back at tripoli? Will that
contaminate the tripoli wheel? I have recently started buffing
and I like the results, but I need advise. Any wood other than
Walnut that you would not use white diamond on?

Kevin, If you are leaving open pored wood open, then you probably don't want any contaminating color in/on it, or you might like the effect. If you are filling the pores and have a "flat" surface it doesn't matter as you can wipe off any residue. Just my .02.
Good luck,

I would definitely remove the old wax prior to buffing. Otherwise you will get the wax residue on the wrong wheel.

When I buff something with all Beall products, including the final carnuba wax that enhances the shine, I will go right back tot he final carnuba buff wheel to "freshen" the shine later if need be. I've never had to put anything over the carnuba wax because the carnuba gives the piece lots of protection itself.

I just rebuff with the wax wheel and sometimes I'll use a little more wax. I don't think you'll need to go back to the diamond or the tripoli unless you really get a bad mark or a scratch .Then you'll need to go all the way down to the wood and fix the problem and redo the finish.
