Completed a few slimlines this week and did one just as a lark and it turned out much better then I expected.

There is one for a customer and the rest are spec.
L to R:
1 WC Copper dressed in Australian Cypress
2&3 Black Titanium dressed in Cucumber Poplar (customer will have choice)
1 Ti. Gold dressed in "Plywood" :D(also see separate photos)

I thought about have a poll and seeing if anyone could guess what the fourth pen is dressed in and how I managed to segment it:rolleyes: but... In any-case it is maple faced plywood but of course all the maple has been turned away as well as most of the next layers on each side. It came out a lot better then I expected. The wood is very soft and liked to chip out real bad so I would soak it with thin CA, turn a couple passes then soak it again and repeat until I got it down to finish size. BTW the Australian Cypress reacted very similarly. It is very soft and wanted to chip on the flat grain side.

Comments and criticisms welcomed.
