Hello the Creek
With a piece of old oak, just for the challenge.
dia 94, long 144mm
My wife crocheted with metallic thread the fence that closes the lateral opening
The title was given by the root that looks like a snake.
Comments welcome

I like it. Another one of those pieces where I look at it for about ten minutes and still can't figure out how it was made.

Lionel, Creativity is in your soul! I love the way it looks and some folks can't defend themselves from purchasing these types of art! Keep up the great ideas and artistic freedom!

Lionel, I love the vase form, the carving and particularly the lace work. I am not sold on the snake, but that is just me so it ain't worth much.

Very cool, Lionel! I would lose the stick, but the vase form is great! The metallic web is a great touch as well.

Very beautiful and imaginative piece, done oh so well. Love the web, but the stick is a distraction for me. Thanks for posting!

Lionel - always happy to see your work! I like the carving on the vase - especially the way the flaps tuck under each other! Please let your wife know that she did a great job with the metal wire! Reminds me of a spiderweb!

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing what you will create next!
