Has anyone built the Peachtree contractor table saw extension: http://www.ptreeusa.com/tablesaw_products.htm

I'm thinking about getting the plan and wanted to know if anyone had success with this plan.

I want to build one too, so let me know if it works for you.

HI Dave,

I've bought the kit, as a matter of fact I purchased 2 of them. Peach Tree has changed the way they advertise this extension leaf. The ad left the application wide open with a statement that said something to the effect that it fits all/most contractor saws. Don't hold me to that last statement because it was a long time ago. IF you have the motor hanging out the back of your saw, the kit should be a no brainer and fit with minimal modifications.

Where I found the problem areas on my saw (sears 3/4 cabinet) is mounting the support bars to the saw. I had minimal area and other fastners where in the way. I was going to take a piece of hard wood and route the area where fasteners interfered and drill holes through the wood and into the saw cabinet to provide a nice flat surface to bolt to. Other than that SNAFU it seemed ok. The hardware is good, the plans good use a bit of editing mostly the English and spelling.

I still plan on installing the outfeed side. I bought 2 kits like I said The other kit would have been for the front. For obvious reason I won't be doing that!
