There is some interest in having a method of identifying "on sight" fellow creekers that may be in attendance at the symposium at St. Paul. I am not familiar with the AAW name badge, but one thought is to have a sticker of some sort on the badge that would be easily seen.

Thoughts???

I love the idea and would proudly wear one if you had something like that.....but then again maybe some of us you don't want identified with SMC ;) :)

Hats?? Well, I don't wear one inside unless I am turning. Too hot.

T Shirts. Well, maybe, but I am on a couple other forums.

Badges??? Hmmmm.

is there a total headcount yet? 1500 or above is good attendance ....seems to me that the halls were crowded between rotations, not sure if name badge is noticeable unless you are facing someone and talking, aaw will probably have some kind of dot system to acknowledge banquet, one day or full acess

Something in florescent orange or green perhaps. They make badges that glow int the dark if need be. Sounds good to me.

If someone "in the know" or with "connections" could find out what sort of stickers will be on the AAW badge (banquet, vendor, etc.) that might be helpful.

Of course, there is always this possibility!!:D:D:D

Everyone could carry around a canoe paddle.... might be a little awkward but there would be no denying that you belonged to the Creek!

I think that was Treasure of the Sierra Madre with Boggy that said that...

Maybe you guys could all turn a goblet. Then attach it to a beanie cap (duct tape, CA, bailing wire, whatever) and wear it to the symposium. Naa... everyone will probably be wearing one... bad idea.... ferget it...

pick up colored stickers at the office supply and put a blue, gree, red, yellow or whatever dot on the badge!

Keith, that is the thought, but we need to know what kind of stickers will be on the badges for AAW various purposes. Hate to have orange stickers and find out everyone with a banquet ticket gets an orange sticker!! Talk about confusion!

Hats are a no go for me. I don't wear them very often and don't wear hats indoors at all. T-shirts don't sound good either. I vote for a colored sticker on the AAW badge.
