I didn't even BID on these, so there! Phbltt!
See, I do so have self-control! :cool:
Besides, 9 of the 25 are junk with plastic handles and the price went above my max of $5 per (useable) chisel. :rolleyes:

You just knew we were going to equate "I resisted" with "got outbid"...

Those Stanley #60s with the plastic handles are a good chisel, even the 16-2112 (or whatever the later ones were) hold an edge fairly well. Although they do look a bit shorter than I'd want even at $5 per...
Keep trying :eek:
'sides...shouldn't you be in the shop for the next couple weeks making handles? :p

I KNEW IT!!!! Just when we think we figured you out...BAM! You were looking at that group of levels, weren't you?!? Or that plethora of braces?!? I know I'm close...go on, admit it!
I was watching those chisels for a last minute LaRussa snipe...
