please take a minute and offer a prayer,, today i find out if my dog of 14 years and one of the best friends i have ever had will live or die. they think he has intestinal bleeding and arent sure if he will make it till tommorow evening.
but more importantly,. for my stepdad, he is going to Sloan-Kettering tommorow for one last check by the doctors. the orthopedic sergon is that last step in making a desicion for surgery or not. if they decide to do the surgery this summer, it will be the largest surgery they have ever done. over twenty hours long. if they decide not to do it, then we have no idea how long he has.. keep him in your prayers please

Curtis,

You certainly have had to learn some of the hardest lessons in life at a very young age. My thoughts and prayers for your step-Dad, you, your family and your canine friend.

the dog suprised the vet and he is gonna be fine. the dog simply needs to have a steriod everyday and he will be fine. he wasnt doing well thismorning until after they ran some tests and did an ultrasound.

as for my stepdad they decided they want to do some more tests first and he has to go back in two weeks before they do anything

Ditto to what Ron & Jim said.

Plus - that's great news about the pup!
I just gave my two a good tummy rub - well - just for being here.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF PRAYER be it for two legged critters or four legged critters. It works and I believe an example has been presented
