Shop re-arrangement consideration

Picture 1 is the current arrangement.

The 2nd arrangement is ok.

But 3rd one is the one I am really strongly considering.

The planer is under the left end of the CMS bench, but I can pull the drawer out & take the planer out & set it on a work mate about midway along the CMS & RAS length.

The other thing is I'll need to re-arrange the dust collection.

The wood vice with the x is the current vice I want to put one on the other side.


I think 3rd arrangment would be the best because there is a upper cabinet above where the combination sander will set & a tv corner shelf above it & the RAS.

This is still tentative. right now I'll need more energy then I have at the moment. Or 3-4 SMC members & a BBQ.
So what think ye.

Now, I see three.

I said it before and I will say it again -You are sure crowding a lot of stuff into that shop! Can't you get rid of something -like the radial arm saw?

I prefer both new layouts to the old but can't choose between them.

All of them look to be an improvment over the original. Having more room to walk around the table saw looks to be a big improvement. I don't know that I could pick one new layout over the other.
