Just finished 13 wall tributes, and 25 Leather coasters. Just so you all know leather rounds are 78 cents from tandy leather, LaserBits was 1.99 so do you home work before you buy.

Nice stuff Dean. Is that color fill or something like mattboard?

Birch 1/8 and I used paint from ace hardware it's for wood and plastic, I love buzz software it's nice to be able to have some easy jobs for a change.

They look sharp - I like the color accents, those usually look a bit boring to me, but the color makes them pop.

I make alot of laserbuzz plaques also. Most that I sell they want personalized. I have them on consignment in a few shops by the beach and do real well with them. I try to do the background in the color of the branch of service and use 3 different colors of stain for the front sections to make them stand out more .

Mark, et al - what color stains are you using for the Buzz plaques? I have not been too satisfied with what I have used - the plaques seem to lose detail of the engraved lines after I spray them with a stain.

Thanks, Pete

Have you tried finishing them before engraving?
