Mid January, Jerry M. sent me one of his chuck plates and a couple of pieces of the desert ironwood he found, and a dry piece of cholla cactus. I told him I'd post some pics in action....sorry it's taken so long but alas, that's how far behind on my turning I actually am.
Maple is BORG 1 x 6 for a little collaborative job (different artist) and it actually has some nice figure with BLO and shellac on it. I'll post before and after pics when completed.
Thanks Jerry - your plate is awesome in all respects! There will be lots of use for this in my future.
