View Full Version : Problems mounting Uniguard splitter on older G1023...

I just got a used 90's G1023 that had a Uniguard installed along with the splitter. I think they (local factory) had problems installing the splitter parallel with the blade, the splitter was bent which meant to me that was their solution for this problem. This is not acceptable to me as the splitter sits back from the blade almost 1/4" as far as I can tell.

Here are some pictures to illustrate what I'm talking about. I've seen people putting this splitter on G1023's so I don't know why I'm having this problem. I am hesitant to just using washers to shim out the splitter since it's meant to be easily removed.

Any ideas???
