Help with a Northwood Shaper.

A friend of mine was selling some tools and a 3 hp Northwood Shaper was in the "deal." On the side of the shaper is a plate that says it is from Louisville KY Serial # 89976, NW 101.

It only has an 1 1/4" spindle. I would like to have a 3/4" spindle.

Any information about this shaper would be helpful.
