I think the system board keyboard connection is damaged. (stretched it while moving it.) I have an extra keyboard, but that didn't fix it. Is there any chance I can use a wireless until I replace the system board. Thanks for the help.

The situation is puzzling.
If the issue is the motherboard then wireless won't fix much since you still have to connect the transmitter to the board.
Have you tried other USB ports?
Or perhaps you have a PS2? (round connector)

If PS2 and that's bad, but USB works, just use a USB one until its time to get a new computer. No reason to go back.
