Haven't gotten any shop time in awhile. Raining today, so snuck some in. Decided to turn that bloodwood bowl I promised my wife. I think I've gotten a little rusty.
Shaping the outside, coming along nicely.
CATCH.
The blank was about a millimeter from going airborn. I turned the speed down so quickly, I misaligned the speed indicator mark on the dial. Yeah, I know. Why didn't I just hit the off button. Just dumb, I guess.
Time for a beer, my lazyboy and a movie with my son.
Could have been worse, I could have caught the heavy blank with my face.
