Hi All,
First post so please be kind http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/icons/icon12.png

Anyway was wondering where I could find the specifications for the optical lense and mirror. The Epilog web site dosent give out to much information on parts.

Also, is there an outlet I could purchase these items and have them posted them to Australia.

Great Forum, with a wealth of information. Thankshttp://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/icons/icon14.png

This is a great place for a lens:

Welcome to the Creek Brian! People here tend to be very kind. :) As I recall, when I got my 2.5" lens from Laser Research they would not send overseas. I use a re-shipper in California (shipito dot com). They are by far the least expensive re-shipper I know of, with good service. If you need the entire mirror-lens assembly with the mount, you will have to get it from Epilog AFAIK. (Luckily, it is quite easy to remove and replce the lens so I still have only one mount.)

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

You can select whatever FL (Focal Length) lens you want, John chose 2.5". The most common FL is 2", followed loosely by 1.5", 4", and 2.5". Longer FL (for standard lenses) means greater working distance, less kerf angle, and larger spot size (which means lower power density).
