Howdy everyone,

Mail lady had a heavy package today. :D I love those. :D :D

<IMG SRC="http://www.terryhatfield.com/walt.JPG">

Big 'ole type 11 #8, #20 square, #61 marking gauge and a #18 bevel....

I got the plane storage revamped for these new guys.......and a couple more from the ...ahhhh...ummm...auction place. Nice #51/4 and the ever popular 1/2 of a #3. :D

<IMG SRC="http://www.terryhatfield.com/nps1.JPG">

Everything new and non-plane found a home in the hand tool drawer.

<IMG SRC="http://www.terryhatfield.com/pdd20.JPG">

This bunch filled out everything from #3 through #8..well at least the "whole" numbers with the 5 1/4 thrown in and I still have a little...very little room for a couple more.

Thanks for looking. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

Isn't it strange how those special tool storage places fill up?
Looks like an expansion is on order soon.

Terry,

It's been a while since you posted a tool with a cord. :rolleyes: I assume you spent all your PM Mortiser on uncorded planes... ;) I was under the assumption that The Vortex of Turnig was deep and costly. I think it may have lost it's number one position with you! Congrats on the new Tewls. :cool:

David,

That's exactly what I did. I'm having much more fun with the planes than I would that old mortiser anyway. :D

I've been watching your progress down the slippery slope with joy. It's always great when someone sees the light and comes over to the quiet side. And boy, have you come over in a big way. You've managed to acquire more planes in a coupla months than I did over several years. As you've discovered, it's not a slope, it's a cliff you've fallen over. Now a few words for you, scrapers, Yankee push drills, braces, chisels, spokeshaves........ Danger, more slopes ahead.

Hmmm, the General Forum may have to assign a Narc to this forum, some posters are starting to sound a little like pushers :)

So how much for those braces and drills, quick before the Narc shows up!
