First off Thanks to John Keeton for the blanks for the handles Im in the very slow prosses of making this Is # 1 Thompsons 1/4 in detal gouge im happy with the handle its a tad flater in the front than I really was wanting but it feels good in my hand so thats all that really maters I guess the next one on the list is My thompson 3/8 in spindle gouge. Then a 1/2 in v bowl gouge.

John Keeton glued up some curly maple and walnut for them. John Rocks.... Its hard to see anything in that pic but its got nice Curl to it....

Rob, congrats on getting the first one behind you!! I am betting the others go much smoother, and they will be more what you are after. Each one gets easier.

And, you are welcome on the wood - just a very small token for that great mahogany chunk you sent me!!!

Rob, that's a neat looking handle for sure. i have made a few tool handles, but it never ocurred to me to laminate my many scarp pieces. Nice work.
